Terms & Conditions

Last but not least – terms and conditions.

In addition to the eligibility criteria (see above), the following T&Cs apply.

Entrants need to register here:

Entries must be the original work of the entrant(s) and must not infringe intellectual property rights of any third party. The use of images, wording, music or other creative material belonging to someone else must be backed up with the other party’s permission to use it. By entering the competition, the entrant warrants that all such permissions have been obtained.

Respect for animals accepts no responsibility for undelivered or lost entries.

For promotion and publicity purposes after the judging, winning entrants will be asked to confirm or provide the following information about the entries: full names of entrant(s), full name(s) of tutors along with the name of the relevant college or university (including department).

By entering the event, entrants agree that their work may be used by Respect for Animals as part of its anti-fur campaign but only with the co-operation and agreement of the entrant.

~By entering the competition, entrants agree not to upload their entry to any other online location before the winners are announced at the end of July.

Entrants retain ownership of their entries to the competition but, by entering, agree that Respect for Animals may use the work, free of charge, but in co-operation with the entrant, as part of its anti-fur campaign.

By entering the competition, entrants grant Respect for Animals an exclusive licence to reproduce or use the entry as part of its anti-fur campaign.

The competition will be judged by a panel of appropriate and qualified individuals, chosen at Respect for Animals sole discretion. This panel will include industry professionals, board members of Respect for Animals and others.

If Respect for Animals has concerns that an entry to the competition is not completely the original work of the entrant, it will contact the entrant, in the first instance, to ask for supporting evidence regarding the works provenance.

Physical entrants will only be returned if a request is received  by email at info@respectforanimals.org  before Monday 4 June.

Respect for Animals reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions. Any changes will appear on the website www.furforanimals.org
