Fur comes from animals either bred in fur factory farms or trapped in the wild using devices that are banned in many countries. Keeping wild mink and fox in tiny, barren wire cages is inherently cruel and leads to self-mutilation, fighting and steotyped behaviour – a clear sign or very poor welfare. All this suffering is unnecessary – there are plenty of other cruelty-free materials that can be used instead.
